NOLA bound!

Family vacation time!  This year we decided to take the kids to New Orleans since they have never been.  We visited the Insectarium, the Audubon Zoo and the Aquarium.  Except for the 110 degree heat, the trip was a great success!  Lots of good food, great attractions/entertainment and quality family time.  Couldn't ask for better!

Listening for termites....  He tried to talk to them!

Petting an alligator... Anthony thought it was real!

Riding in the wagon at the zoo!  By this time, they were exhausted!

Anthony got to pet a REAL baby alligator!  He was so excited!

Future Firefighters

What do you do on a lazy day during the summer?  Go tour a fire house!  Here's a snapshot of our fun day!

My future firefighter!

Listening to the fire engine's horn.  A little loud, but no one got scared...thankfully!
Our friends in the picture are the Beall's!

After the tour, the kids had fun in the swing!  Who knew this would be one of the best parts of the tour? :)
